An evening of free music at the Friends’ Meeting House: 19 May

Bath Friends’ Meeting House is once again a venue in the annual free music evening of the Bath Festival this Friday 19 May. The programme is:

The Jerome Recorders include bass and contrabass.

6:15 pm -6:45 pm  Jerrome Recorders From little sopranino to huge contrabass, music from 5 centuries

7:00 pm -7:30 pm  New Academic Feetwarmers   Trad jazz band of trumpet, clarinet, trombone, sax, piano, bass, banjo, and washboard

7:45 pm -8:15 pm   Kilter’s Unsung Choir   Neighbourhood singing project performing songs written by local children

8:30 pm -9:00 pm   Bath City Jubilee Waits  Lively English music in an old tradition

There will be many other performances all over the city through the evening, some of them involving members of the Meeting e.g. Walcot State Choir, Zephyrian Woodwind Orchestra and Cappella Nova. Find the full programme here.
