Friends enjoyed a clear sunny day with eye-stretching views for the day of quiet at the Old Barn on Kelston Roundhill.
Bath Quakers gathered at the Old Barn on Kelston Roundhill to enjoy an early autumn day of quiet and spiritual renewal in the local countryside on Saturday 2 Sept. The day included readings, exercised in listening, reflection, silent worship and other quiet activities.
Friends found this reading, selected by Christine Goodgame-Nobes, from Beds Griffiths particularly inspiring.
Many thanks to Katie Evans and Christine Goodgame-Nobes for organising the day and to all who attended.
“We are built for contemplation…” A Friend refreshed by the view over the Avon towards Bristol and Wales.
