Come and hear about John Cabot and the lost history of discovery

Friends and all are invited to an evening of discussion on Thursday 28 June 1930 in the historic surroundings of the Mill Room, Albert Mill, Dapps Hill, Keynsham.  Light refreshments will be available during the evening.

Steve Spear (M-Shed Historic Walks) will introduce the characters and the events which led to the great maritime race of the 15th century and Bristol’s important role in the story. No charge, but a hat will be passed around for donations towards Parkinson’s UK. Please bring a chair if poss.

The c15th navigator Giovanni Caboto (John Cabot) had a royal patent issued 1496 authorising expeditions undertaken from Bristol.
