In the past our Meeting House has received generous grants both from the national and local Churches Trust. We can support  the Ride and Stride in two ways:

By taking part and encouraging others to take part, that is getting a list of open churches and getting sponsorship for every church visited. More info on www.somersetchurchestrust.org.  You will need a form to be signed at each place. The Trust keeps half the money and the rest to a cause we choose.

By making refreshments, for which we get donations, and/or by signing up to welcome visitors to the Meeting House, which is listed as being open 1000-1600 on 8th and providing refreshments and facilities. Margaret Heath is making a list: please catch her after a Sunday meeting (not 18th).

Both church visiting and welcoming can be fun as well as worthwhile.
