Bath Ocean Plastic Day: 13 January 2020

Our Friend Agnes Javor’s daughter, Jess Hrivnak, is a sustainability consultant organising Bath Ocean Plastic Day at the Komedia in Westgate Street, Bath on 13 Jan 2020.

Decoration hand-stamped on to brown paper: an alternative to non-recyclable plastic foil or glitter gift-wrap. Thank you, Ben (Bath Children’s Meeting)

This event is about the health and environmental issues surrounding single-use plastics. There is a morning conference for local school pupils, students and home-educating families, entitled Plastic Fantastic & Our Planet.

Friends are warmly invited to the evening event, Truth about plastics: the good, the bad and the ugly, from 1815 to 1945. Speakers include Emily Penn and other industry experts who will sort facts from myths and share ways to make the use of plastic more sustainable.. Tickets for the evening cost £10.

Tickets and further information via Bath Komedia and B&NES Third Sector Group (3SG).
