Toppings & Company Booksellers, the Bath book shop based in The Paragon, has recently submitted plans to Bath & NE Somerset Council for converting Bath Quakers’ former Friends Meeting House into a bookshop.

If these plans are approved by B&NES planners then Quaker Trustees will progress negotiations with Toppings for the sale of the building.

Bath Quakers moved out of the Meeting House in 2019, after deciding to sell the building. Until the Covid-19 restrictions were imposed, we had
