Jane Stephenson shares Andy Cunningham’s photos

On 6th November, at the halfway-point of COP26, thousands of people in hundreds of places on six continents (we learn!), took part in events for the Global Day of Action for Climate Justice. We are glad to be able to share these photographs of the Day’s events in Bath.

Jane Stephenson’s husband Andy Cunningham took the photos of Bath Stop War’s regular Saturday vigil with its special Climate focus, leading to conversations around “War causes climate change – Climate change causes war”.

Bath Quakers were well represented at all the day’s events which were coordinated by Extinction Rebellion: as well as the vigil there was an information stall on Kingston Parade, a ‘Wishing Tree’ on Abbey Green, a rally with speakers and a march around the city centre. They all feature in the XR Bath photo collage.
