Bath Mayor Paul Crossley addressed a packed Banqueting Hall for an interfaith reception focussed on Bath as a transition city. We heard insights and wisdom in words and music from nine speakers: Baha’i, Sikh, Christian, Buddhist, new age Druid, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu and Sai Baba.
Shelagh James (pictured here talking to Ras B from Fairfield House) has supported Bath’s inter-faith work for many years.
Quakers were present in strong numbers, also Rastafari from Fairfield House, former home of H.I.M Heile Selassie.
A wide variety of prayers written by participants were collected on a special tree.
