In view of the high profile of white poppies over the past few weeks – and now in the light of the disappearance (yet again) of our war memorial wreath – Friends may be particularly glad to hear from Symon Hill, co-ordinator of the Peace Pledge Union. And you can, this Th 15 Nov at 1900 in the Meeting House. When Bath Stop War invited Symon months ago, they had no idea quite how much media coverage Symon and PPU would have, what with the dozens of media interviews and fending off smears by politicians. Please come to hear his take on the lessons of World Wars as well as give him some well-earned support and encouragement. Note the slightly earlier-than-usual start time so Symon can get home to some equally well-earned rest.
