Afternoon meetings for learning: “Open for Transformation”

Open for Transformation: Being Quaker Today

For six afternoons starting Th 18 April (that’s the Thursday before Easter) Elders are reprising the meetings for learning we ran last year, hoping this will attract Friends who find evening meetings hard to get to.  We’ll be meeting in the Goodridge Room of Bath Central United Reformed Church (Grove Street entrance) 1430-1600 on the following dates:

  • 18 April     Session 1       Video of Swarthmore lecture 2014 by Ben Pink Dandelion
  • 2 May        Session 2       Celebrating the Quaker way
  • 16 May      Session 3       Our spiritual experience
  • 30 May      Session 4       Identifying our gifts and needs as a meeting
  • 13 June      Session 5       How our Meeting works (or might work)
  • 27 June      Session 6       Living the Quaker way

Everyone is welcome. You don’t have to attend all the sessions and you can come even if you came to last year’s sessions as the discussions are bound to go in different directions this time.
