Young friends adapt to virtual meetings and sharing feelings

Just a note to say we had our first successful Zoom meeting tonight… it wasn’t quite like in person, but really nice to connect. Thanks everyone for coming along and making a great start to WYFAN online. We agreed we’d meet weekly for now, to offer another anchor in such strange and open timetables.

So – see you next week at the same time, same place!

For those who weren’t there, we hope you can join us sometime. Do let us know if there’s any technical issues we can help you with. Here’s a taste of what we did…

This was our collective response to the situation.

This is how we were feeling after the zoom chat.

The youth project, and wider Quaker commnity is here for you in these fast changing and uncertain times. Do get in touch if you have any thoughts, questions or ideas, or just want a listening ear. Email or text is best and then we can make a time to chat on the phone if wanted.

I think Local Meetings in this area have all set up Zoom Meetings for Worship on Sunday in case you are interested – please let me know if you need help linking in with these and I can share details.

Hope you all have good weekends and look forward to connecting again soon.

Next meeting is Friday 27th @6.30pm. The link is
