Bath Quaker Burial Ground will be taking part in this year’s Heritage Open Days, and will be open to the public, free, from 10am until 4pm on Saturday 10th September.
The Burial Ground is at Clarendon Road, off Widcombe Hill, Bath BA2 4NJ.
Parking in Clarendon Road is restricted for residents only. Blue Badge holders may park within a parking bay. There is limited parking on Widcombe Hill, with a steep slope down to the steps in Church St leading to Clarendown Road. The Burial Ground is a 20-minute walk from Bath’s train and bus stations, including a short but steep climb.
The two wooden entrance doors are heavy and a wheelchair user is likely to require help opening them both. The burial ground slopes gently and has mown paths and a slightly uneven paved path leading to a seating area. There is a small composting toilet which has a step to access it.
Plants from the Burial Ground garden and from Friends’ gardens will be on sale to raise money for gardening maintenance.
We look forward to weloming visitors to discover this beautiful corner of hidden Bath.
