If you want to be kept up to date on the Quaker peace testimony a very good source is Friends House’s Educate and disarm web site and newsletter. It’s full of activity, events and resources such as campaigns on

• military spending 
• rethinking security along sustainable lines 
• child soldiers

Specific events coming include a Rethinking Security workshop in London 4th May, a festival of peace in Sidcot School near Bristol on 18 June, and the International Festival of Childhood coming up in Bath 29 June – 2 July.

On Sat 13 May Rebecca Crozier of International Alert gives the 4th Annual Bristol Quaker Peace Lecture on Using Peace Building projects to address violent extremism   in Bristol University’s Wills Memorial building (admission free; email minds.hartog@phonecoop.coop. And you’ll generally find some Bath Quakers in the Bath Stop War demo outside the Abbey on a Saturday morning; stop by to have a friendly word.
